Anniversaries, parties, and much much more!!

We are sadly winding down from our chaotic summer and trying to establish some sort of household routine. Last week we held a surprise anniversary party for my parents! We figured surviving 40 years and 8 children deserved some recognition. I think we were just as surprised as my parents when we opened the doors to the hall...none of us imagined we'd be able to keep it a secret for over a year! But we did and it was fantastic!!!

We also celebrated two of my nephews birthdays this week...Liam and Nolan. They are both huge blessings in our lives and we love them very much. My sister called me a couple of nights ago to let me know that her children prayed for their cousins in Africa in their night prayers - thanking God for their new cousins! We certainly have a lot to be thankful for!!
