First of all, I want to congratulate all of the families involved in the restructured Imagine! We are very happy for everyone and really hoping for some great news for our friends who have been waiting to bring their beautiful girls home! We had decided that we were not going to stay with Imagine prior to the bankruptcy, but we're very happy and proud of all the families who have worked so hard to get this done.
Yup, I'm already anticipating Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I am lovin' this weather, but things are crazy right now. My dear husband is working lots and always on the road, which leads to a bit of a worrying wife. I am finding the transition back to school a little overwhelming and I can't help but question if maybe I've chewed off a little more than I can handle! I also started my new job last week, which is exciting, but it is a lot to take in and I've been working like crazy!
All of these have contributed to the Christmas countdown, but of course our adoption is always number one in my mind. And we've had a lot of decisions to make (again) in the last couple of months. I am happy to report that they are made and things will move soon. We feel great about our decisions and are really excited to move in this next journey. To be honest, we've been ready to start on this path for around three months now, but every time we think we're ready someone throws us a curve ball! We're expecting our social worker to approve it and this shouldn't be a problem since she's verbally approved our last modification and then it is off! We've decided to not make any announcements until our dossier is in the country, but sit tight because that should happen in October!
I better get cleaning because we've invited some friends and family over for a sushi dinner tonight! I've never made it before so I'm a little nervous, but I'll make the kids a pizza and serve the adults wine!

Oh, before kids we used to do Sushi parties. How was it? What rolls did you make? Can't wait to hear more about your adoption decisions :)
Sushi parties are the best and the kids learn to love it too. (That's what Maia asked for for her bday party.)
You sure know how to build up the suspense! Can't wait to hear more!
Can't wait to hear the "official" announcement! Good luck with the Steak night too :)
